The basic principle of operation is to view Search Zones before the search. Prior to the searching, The Sleuthhound! must review the folders on the hard disk (the Search Zone) and memorize the information about all the documents from set folders into its "memory" files.
Search Zone is space on hard disk consisting of folders where The Sleuthhound! searches for documents. Prior to the search The Sleuthhound! must review the folders on hard disk (Search Zone) and memorize the information about all the documents from folders into its "memory" files.
To set The Sleuthhound! on folders means to order The Sleuthhound! to review the folders and create special files that describe documents in Search Zone.

When The Sleuthhound! is started it shows Main Window. The specific feature of The Sleuthhound! is its interface which is similar to popular Web Search Engine. You searching is customary as if you were using Web Search Engine (AltaVista, Lycos etc.).
Enter the keywords you wish to search for in the box below the picture of Sleuthhound.
Click on the Find it! button or press Enter to start the search. In one second The Sleuthhound! will find the documents that contain the keywords.
Important!
With the first start The Sleuthhound! runs the wizard of creating Search Zone automatically, because The Sleuthhound can find documents from Search Zone only.
The next page helps you to set The Sleuthhound! on folders and create Search Zone.
