The Main Window contains the basic commands for operating The Sleuthhound! Pro

Enter the keyword(s) you wish to search for in the box below the picture of the Sleuthhound.
Click on the Find it! button or press Enter to start the search. In one second The Sleuthhound! Pro will find the documents you want.
Click on Search Zone Manager to open Search Zone Manager panel that helps manage Search Zones.

Results Browser
Displaying a search report in a Web page format gives you the same results as a Web Search Engine on your hard-drive.

The report heading identifies the keywords of a search, the number of documents detected and the order in which the documents are sorted.
The first line indicates the number assigned to the document according to the order in which it is displayed on screen, the header of document, and type of documents as icon.
The second line contain the date of the last modifying of the document, document path and full name.
The next lines displays the text from the document that contain search keywords. Search keywords are highlighted.
Click the mouse on the header of the document or the document name to open the document with the application that is associated with in Windows.

Advanced Search
"Advanced Search" panel in Results Browser gives access to Power Searches.

Advanced Search panel allows you easily create a detailed search query with the multiple search criteria available. When you click on the Advanced Search button in the Results Browser toolbar then the Advanced Search panel will appear at the left. The last search query is recorded in the panel and allows you to customize search queries in an easy manner.

Document Preview
A unique feature of The Sleuthhound! Pro is the document text "preview" in the internal Browser linked from the Results Browser.

For a quick preview of the document text with the keyword highlighted,
simply click on the Preview button above Prev and Next botton
Click on the Next or Prev buttons to examine the next occurrence of the keyword in the document.
Search keyword are highlighted in the text string in which it appears.
Click the mouse on the blue header of the document or the document name to open in its native application in Windows.

Just click the mouse on the header of the document or the document name to open the document with the application that is associated with in Windows.
Search Zone Wizard. Select document types.
This page is for selecting document types you wish to include in your
search zone.

Check the Text document *.txt to include in Search Zone all text documents in any coding.
Check the MS Word document *.doc to include in Search Zone all MS Word documents in any version of MS Word.
Check the HTML document *.html, *.htm to include in Search Zone all HTML document.
Check the RTF document *.rtf to include in Search Zone RTF document.

Search Zone Wizard. Select document folders.
This wizard helps set The Sleuthhound! Pro onto your folders for instant searching and creation of Search Zones.

To include folders to new Search Zone check the folder and press the Space button or click the mouse on a folder.
Select folders containing different documents, C:\My documents, etc, etc. Include as wide a range of document folders that you think may be relevant.
Selected folder will be ticked blue.
